Product Advantages:

  • Anti-rust and Anti-corrosion: Forms an airtight protective film under the vehicle to isolate corrosive substances such as moisture, salt, and mud from contact with metal, effectively preventing the chassis from rusting and rotting.
  • Stabilizing Components: Fills gaps between connected components and enhances screw tightness, reducing component loosening or abnormal noise caused by vibration during vehicle operation.
  • Noise Reduction and Comfort Enhancement: Absorbs noise from road bumps and gravel impacts through an elastic coating, weakens noise transmission into the vehicle, and improves driving and riding comfort.
  • Impact Resistance Protection: The coating with certain hardness and elasticity can buffer the impact of gravel and hard objects on the undercarriage, avoiding physical damage such as scratches and dents on the chassis.
  • Extending Service Life: Reduces chassis wear through comprehensive protection, lowers the frequency of component repair and replacement, and indirectly extends the overall service life of the vehicle.

Usage Method:

  1. Thoroughly Clean the Chassis: First rinse the undercarriage with a high-pressure water gun to remove attached debris like sediment and gravel; then wipe with a dedicated chassis cleaner, focusing on removing oil stains, rust, and aged coatings. Finally, dry with a cloth or let air-dry to ensure no moisture or impurities remain on the chassis.
  2. Cover Non-Spraying Components: Carefully wrap parts on the chassis that don’t need spraying (such as exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, brake discs, chassis wiring harness interfaces, engine oil pan drain bolts, shock absorbers) with heat-resistant masking film and tape, preventing armor material from adhering and affecting component function or heat dissipation.
  3. Pretreat the Chassis Surface: For areas with slight rust, gently sand with fine sandpaper until the metal color is exposed to remove loose rust; if there are small scratches or pits on the chassis, fill them with dedicated putty and sand smooth first to improve the adhesion of the armor coating.
  4. Prepare Armor Coating: Fully stir the undercarriage armor coating according to product instructions. If the coating is thick, add a dedicated thinner in proportion (ratios vary by brand, so follow instructions strictly) and stir until smooth, avoiding lumps.
  5. Standardize Spraying Process: Use a dedicated pneumatic spray gun, set to appropriate pressure (usually 0.3-0.5MPa), keep it 30-50 cm from the chassis surface, and spray the first coat horizontally or vertically at a steady speed to ensure full coverage of all corners without missing any areas.
  6. Layered Spraying and Curing: After the first coat, wait 2-4 hours (depending on temperature and humidity, until the coating is no longer sticky), then apply the second coat, with the direction crossing the first (e.g., horizontal first, vertical second) to ensure uniform thickness. For enhanced protection, apply a third coat after the second dries, with a total recommended thickness of 1-2 mm.
  7. Static Drying and Curing: After spraying, park the vehicle in a well-ventilated, dry, dust-free area, avoid rain, direct sunlight, and contact. Let the coating dry and cure naturally, usually taking 24-48 hours (may extend to 72 hours in low-temperature, high-humidity environments). Do not start the vehicle or touch the chassis during this period.
  8. Inspect and Repair Defects: After full drying, remove masking materials and check for missed areas, bubbles, or drips. For small defects, lightly sand and touch up; for severe defects, completely remove the coating in that area and re-spray.

Precautions:

  • Initial Usage Notes: Within 1-2 weeks after curing, avoid muddy, deep water, or gravel roads. Do not high-pressure wash the chassis to prevent damage to the newly stabilized coating; avoid washing the newly sprayed chassis area during car washes.
  • Construction should be done in a well-ventilated area. Operators are advised to wear gas masks, gloves, and goggles to avoid inhaling volatile substances or skin contact with the coating.Different brands of undercarriage armor have varying properties; strictly follow product instructions for thickness, drying time, and ambient temperature (usually recommended to construct between 5-35℃).
  • For spray-can undercarriage armor, first invert the can and shake for 1-2 minutes to mix the coating thoroughly. Keep the can vertical during spraying to avoid uneven application due to excessive tilting.
