These clues identify a direction, not a final diagnosis. A stuck choke, blocked air filter, vacuum leak, restricted fuel filter, weak pump, ignition fault, or incorrect adjustment can create overlapping symptoms.

Visible fuel entering the throat at idle is a serious warning.
